Orientation provides an opportunity for all participants of CSE 2008 to get to know each other and bridge the cultural divide through a variety of fun and culturally educational activities. Over the course of the first day, all participants will take part in the following activities:

1. Opening Cermonies

As our first meeting together, the Opening Ceremonies of CSE 2008 will introduce us to supporters and organizers of CSE and CCCEF and set an inspirational and enthusiastic tone for our two weeks of work together.

2. Writing a Biography in the Journal

Students will be guided to write a short 200 word biography about themselves and a partner in their journal and will be given an opportunity to present themselves in front of their class.

3. Class Icebreakers

Students will take part in fun games in the classroom to get to know each other and their Fellow better.
